You wouldn’t find better swing in a driving range!!
We have been playing together since 2008 and hence have built up a great understanding of our individual playing styles. It was always in the back of our minds to record and after a great gig one night last August we both just said let’s record one together! The following day we met up and started the ball rolling.
Guest musicians on our album are Aileen Dillane from Templeglantine Co Limerick on Piano and DJ Curtin from Mountcollins Co Limerick on box. Two great musicians we have been playing with for years now.
Official Launch
The official launch of our debut album was on in DJ Murphy’s bar in Abbeyfeale Co Limerick on May 1st at 4.00pm as part of the Irish music festival The Fleadh by the Feale.
Additional Launches
We had a Launch in Ennis on Friday May 27th in Ciaran's as part of Fleadh Nua 2011. We had a great gig up there!! Great to be asked!!
We also had a local launch in Bob’s bar Kanturk Co Cork on Friday June 3rd. Thanks to all who came and supported us on the night. We had a ball!
We had another Launch and Gig in the Quays in Galway on Thursday 14th July from 9.00 to 11.30pm. A brilliant night was had up there!! Thanks to Seamus and all the staff and thanks for everyone who supported us on the night!!
Another great evening and night was had in The Grand, Killarney Co Kerry on Sunday 31st July..Thanks to James, Patsy and all who came along to support!
We will be playing the Gig Rig at Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Cavan on Saturday 20th at 3.00pm
Next launch after that was in Mc Carthy's bar Dingle on Sat 10th of September (6.00pm) as part of the Dingle Tradfest.. Thanks to Aoife for inviting us down.
